Living in Melrose first as a young child and then returning as an adult with my family provided me with a unique experience of seeing how this community has evolved over time, while also retaining the elements that make Melrose so special. Our small but vibrant city is a community that cares about one another, making it a perfect place to raise a family. With my husband Matt and our two children (and dog, Ruby!), we have truly found our home here in Melrose.

I have always had a passion for public service and working on the Melrose City Council for these past two terms has been a fantastic way to fulfill that goal. My 20+ year career in nonprofit and higher education management has proven to be such a crucial asset to me on the city council. The ability to work effectively and partner with a wide variety of people in different roles to help achieve a common goal is something that I truly enjoy. Solving problems, asking hard questions, and seeing the big picture are all practical skills that I have gained from my personal and professional experience.
